Yamaha Revstar Element RSE20 Electric Guitar – Black
$549.99
THE REVSTAR REBORN!
The Yamaha Revstar Element RSE20 guitar from Yamaha is an update to the original Revstar line that offers enhanced comfort and even more eye-catching aesthetics! Two Yamaha Alnico V humbuckers in the lightweight chambered mahogany body of this curved double-cut guitar produce a wide spectrum of tones with a punchy midrange. Want to cut through a thick mixture? The highpass “Dry” switch on the Revstar has many of the same articulation-enhancing characteristics of a good coil-split, but without any hum,. With the Yamaha Revstar Element RSE20, you’ll be in your element if you’re searching for a high-performance, no-nonsense axe with explosive tones, rock-solid playability, and sleek modern aesthetics.
The utilitarian British Café racer motorcycles seen in 1960s London are credited with inspiring the Yamaha Revstar Element RSE20 curved lines and classic aesthetics, giving these svelte guitars a rugged no-frills attitude. Using Yamaha’s Acoustic Design methodology, a special double-cut chambered body was created in order to optimize the Revstar’s balance, produce a resonant tone, and shed weight. Yamaha’s research paid off, and it only takes one strum of the RSE20 to realize it: the Revstar’s body is an incredibly cozy design that exemplifies Yamaha’s unwavering commitment to musical innovation!
The Yamaha Revstar Element RSE20’s wide tonal palette is provided by a pair of Yamaha Alnico V humbucking pickups, making it ideal for both distinctly contemporary high-gain tones and vintage grit, as well as everything in between! The RSE20’s dual humbuckers, set-neck construction, and mahogany body make for a timeless combination that produces tons of sustain and a noticeable increase in the midrange.
Yamaha was motivated to develop the Revstar because they wanted to produce something novel and distinctive. Thus, the RSE20 has a highpass push-pull “Dry” switch instead of a coil-split. This switch is specifically designed to increase the definition of your RSE20 by tightening up the bass end and enhancing the treble. This significantly boosts clarity and cutting power just like a conventional coil-split, but without any of the hum that comes with a single-coil pickup.
