Bassists have long employed two vintage Muffs to generate cutting fuzz tones, and the Electro-Harmonix Bass Big Muff Pi makes use of these same two Muffs. The Bass Big Muff Pi produces tones akin to the renowned 1970s Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi and the battle-tank green Sovtek Big Muff Pi, but it is tuned for a meaty bottom end that punches through everything. A Bass Boost/Dry toggle gives the Bass Big Muff Pi’s sound more bottom, and a straight out allows you to route unaltered signal to an additional amp or effects circuit.
