The Walrus Audio Ages Overdrive pedal produces a wide variety of low- and high-gain tones whether it is the single drive pedal in your signal chain or is stacked with additional pedals. With a 5-way rotary selector, you may explore with five various flavors of gain and clipping with this very versatile overdrive pedal. To combine the saturation of the overdrive with the crisp, clear tone of your dry guitar tone, use the dedicated Dry knob.

Select the overdrive mode that best suits the sound of your song, adjust the sonic balance with the Dry knob, and you’re ready to rock. The Walrus Audio Ages overdrive pedal is a great addition to any guitarist’s pedalboard because it offers a wide variety of overdrive tones to experiment with.

The five-position rotary knob offers the following gain states:

I.    Low-gain mode with symmetric silicon soft clipping. Compressed and smooth.
II.   Low-gain mode with symmetric LED soft clipping. Pushed, open, and sparkly.
III.  High-gain mode with symmetric silicon soft clipping. Increased saturation and tight.
IV.  High-gain mode with symmetric LED soft clipping. Saturated, punchy and big.
V.   High-gain mode with symmetric silicon hard clipping. Heavy compression, thick and chewy.
