The Walrus Audio Jupiter Fuzz V2 can create a wide variety of fuzz tones from any electric guitar thanks to its three clipping modes, musical tone control, and bass-boost button. Dial up the volume for just the proper amount of bite and presence to push your tone to the front or turn down the tone control for a cozy and fuzzy character that sits back in the mix. For that beautiful dying-battery fuzz effect or to moderate excessive noise, use the internal gate control. The Walrus Audio Jupiter Fuzz V2 pedal will provide you with virtually any fuzz tone you might like when combined with the controls on your guitar.

You can choose between three alternative clipping diode configurations, each with its own character, using Walrus Audio Jupiter Fuzz V2’s 3-way mode switch. The least amount of fuzz, the least degree of compression, and the highest output of the three modes are provided by the leftmost switch position. With less overall output available, the middle position will have more fuzz and compression. The lowest output of the three modes is found at the rightmost position, along with the most fuzz and compression.

Many guitarists prefer fuzz effects with low-frequency control, such as the Walrus Audio Jupiter Fuzz V2. Leave the bass boost off for midrange-focused Ventures-style fuzz effects. Engage the bass boost for a significant amount of low-end punch for a more contemporary, synthesized fuzz effect. Both modes are switchable and each one has a distinctive tonality.

Simply pry open the Walrus Audio Jupiter Fuzz V2 pedal to gain access to the inner gate control if you’re serious about tailoring your fuzz sound precisely to your requirements. It is pre-programmed to reduce excessive noise without taking away all of your sustain. Simply turn the gate control back if you prefer the spitting sound made by a fuzz pedal with a dead battery, though. Reverse the control to increase the gate effect for a gentler feel.
