The Schecter Omen Extreme 6 checks all the appropriate boxes if you’re looking for a dual-humbucker shred monster that plays well, sounds fantastic, and is affordable. Its 24 extra-jumbo frets, flat-radius rosewood fingerboard, and thin “C” maple neck provide the basis for everything from quick runs to finger-tapping antics. This axe has a lot of presence under stage lights thanks to the addition of a gorgeous quilt maple-topped mahogany body with a deep gloss finish and multi-ply crème binding. Six pickup tones are available for securing your spot in a mix thanks to the competent Diamond Plus humbuckers with push-pull coil splits on the Schecter Omen Extreme 6. To help you look and sound your best in any performance situation, the hardware includes a tuning-stable string-through body with a Tune-o-matic bridge and black chrome Schecter tuners.
The Schecter Omen Extreme 6’s quality looks and sound come from a tried-and-true body combination of figured maple over deep mahogany. This guitar also stands out from the competition because of its crème multi-ply binding, which runs from the body up the neck and into the headstock.
